New MANDATORY trainings for providers that receive subsidy funds

Hi everyone-

You should have received a letter recently from the Missouri Department of Social Services to Child Care Providers. The letter addresses new training requirements for those providers who are recipients of subsidy funds.

I will be emailing you a list of the trainings approved through the MO Workshop Calendar and in the CCHC Library which MAY assist providers in meeting these new rules. Final determination for if these will meet the requirements will be made by DSS. A copy of the trainings has been submitted for a determination by them.

You may also be contacted by Educare/Project REACH. It is our understanding that this organization may be offering to assist the providers in completing the training requirements. Project REACH contact for your area may be found at: http://educareprojectreach.missouri.edu/countiesserved.html

That is the information we have for now. We will keep you informed as we are advised by DSS on this matter.
